Green Battery Inc. (“Green Battery”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
This policy is issued under Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the UK GDPR applies to our processing, the additional rights described in section 8 also apply.

2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you give us
When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you enter: inquiry type, name, company name, address, email address, telephone number, and the content of your message. Only inquiry type, name, email address and message are required; the remaining fields are optional.
If you contact us by email or telephone, we receive whatever information you choose to provide in that communication.
2.2 Information collected automatically
If you consent to analytics or marketing cookies (see section 5), we and our service providers may collect: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, time spent, and interactions such as clicks on links or form submissions.
We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data, and we do not collect information from children under 16 through this website.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to make decisions producing legal effects about you by automated means alone.
4. Service providers and disclosure
We share personal information only as follows:
- Form delivery. Contact form submissions are transmitted to us through Web3Forms, which forwards the content of your submission to our email address.
- Analytics and advertising. Where you have consented, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads process website usage data on our behalf.
- Professional advisers and service providers. Legal, accounting, IT and hosting providers bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements. Where disclosure is required by law, court order or a competent authority.
- Corporate transactions. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or transfer of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not otherwise provide personal information to third parties without your consent.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies and similar storage technologies:
- Strictly necessary. Required for the website to function and to remember your cookie choice. These are always active and do not require consent.
- Analytics. Used to understand how visitors find and use the site, so we can improve it. Set only with your consent.
- Marketing. Used to measure advertising performance and to reach relevant audiences. Set only with your consent.
Analytics and marketing tags are governed by Google Consent Mode v2 and remain disabled until you accept them. You may change or withdraw your choice at any time using the link, which appears in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may affect how parts of the site behave.
6. International transfers
We are established in Japan, and personal information you submit is processed in Japan. Our service providers may process data in the United States and other jurisdictions. Where personal data is transferred from the EEA or the UK, we rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for Japan or, where that decision does not apply, on standard contractual clauses together with appropriate supplementary measures.
7. Retention and security
We retain inquiry correspondence for as long as necessary to handle your inquiry and to maintain a record of our business relationship, and thereafter only as required for legal, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes. Analytics data is retained for the period configured in our analytics account, currently 14 months.
We maintain organizational, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold, and we restrict access to personnel who need it to perform their duties. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request:
- disclosure of the personal information we hold about you;
- correction, addition or deletion of that information;
- suspension of use, or cessation of provision to third parties;
- a copy of your data in a portable format, and restriction of, or objection to, certain processing (GDPR / UK GDPR);
- withdrawal of any consent you have given.

If you are in the EEA or the UK and believe our processing is unlawful, you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In Japan, you may contact the Personal Information Protection Commission.
